Masimo Alton

Following the 2019 WaterStar certification of the company’s main office in Irvine, a second Masimo property on Alton Parkway was WaterStar certified in 2024 — reflecting the health technology and consumer electronics company’s mission of sustainability as a member of Practice Greenhealth, a national organization committed to environmentally preferable practices in the health care industry.  The Alton location qualified for WaterStar certification with its high-efficiency 1.28 gallon-per-flush toilets, no-flush urinals, 1.75 gallon-per-flush showers and sensor-controlled faucets. Water-efficient plants and drip irrigation provide even greater water savings outdoors, resulting in a water use well below the facility’s monthly budget allowance.
