As a service to our customers we feature a calendar of IRWD and community events on our site at IRWD.com/events. IRWD participates in dozens of community-hosted events every year, and self-hosts tours and workshops.

Assistance League of Irvine

Cool Irvine

Cool Irvine is a program of the nonprofit Cool OC, which is dedicated to educating communities on climate change and empowering individuals to adopt safe, resilient, and eco-friendly lifestyles within Orange County. Families Forward

Serving the community since 1984, Families Forward's mission is to help families in need achieve and maintain self-sufficiency through housing, counseling, education and other support services. Inside the Outdoors

Inside the Outdoors, a leader in hands-on science and social studies programs since 1974, is a unique environmental education program administered by the Orange County Department of Education. Their mission is to empower students, teachers, parents and the community to explore natural areas and expand their knowledge of the outdoors. For details call 714-708-3885.

Irvine Fine Arts Center

The mission of the Irvine Fine Art Center is to build community awareness of the value and function of the arts in our culture. Irvine Fine Arts Center accomplishes this by encouraging public participation in quality and diverse creative activities in an inteactive art environment. The Irvine Museum

Dedicated to the preservation and display of California art of the Impressionist Period (1890-1930), The Irvine Museum is embracing a principal role in the education and furtherance of this beautiful and important regional variant of American Impressionism that has come to be associated with California and its remarkable landscape. Leadership Tomorrow

Master Gardeners of Orange County

The number one priority of Master Gardeners of Orange County is to provide residents of Orange County with up-to-date, practical and sound gardening advice that they can use. Master Gardeners of Orange County also has the capacity to assist local residents via email at ucceocmghotline@ucanr.edu.

Newport Bay Conservancy

Newport Bay Conservancy is a volunteer-driven, community-based organization and nonprofit corporation dedicated to: preserving and restoring the ecosystems of Upper Newport Bay educating the public about the ecological value of the Bay and its watershed and helping ensure compatible public use. Orange County Coastkeeper

Sea and Sage Audubon

An Orange County chapter of the National Audubon Society, Sea & Sage Audubon is a leader in creating an understanding of nature in Orange County through conservation, research and environmental education programs for children and adults. Shadetree Partnership

Shadetree Partnership is a volunteer organization that promotes more liveable communities through the planting and stewardship of shade trees. Shadetree Partnership sponsors volunteer events at its nursery on Anteater Drive on the UCI campus. Toastmasters International

The general public is invited to visit a meeting or join the Toastmasters International "Water Meeters" Club #6492. Meetings take place on Wednesdays at noon at the offices of Irvine Ranch Water DIstrict, located at 15600 Sand Canyon Ave, Irvine. Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary
