Hyatt Regency
Hyatt Regency Irvine, the largest full-service hotel in the Irvine area, recently completed a $55 million transformation that included 516 renovated rooms and suites — with plans to debut a new pool experience with waterslides, a splash area and whirlpool spa in summer 2024. Water-saving upgrades included low-flow 0.8 gallon-per-flush toilets, low-flow showerheads and motion-sensored faucets throughout the facility. Water-efficient spray valves and high-efficiency dishwashers save water in the food preparation area —along with air-cooled ice machines, self-contained steamers and air-cooled refrigeration cooling. Cooling towers for air conditioning exceed minimum efficiency standards with six cycles of concentration. Hyatt Regency Irvine also upgraded its landscape, removing old turf and replacing it with beautiful water-efficient plants.
